Opening/Closing

SARL C&A EXPERIENCES – Experiences by Chloe&Wines is open all year long from Monday to Friday. 
Our office is closed on weekend and bank holidays. However, we can be reached by email. 
The visit service is usually closed:

  • During the Futures week
  • Bank Holidays and bridges
  • During Christmas Holidays 

Visit Descriptions

We propose luxury tailor made tours. Our tours are private: we do not mix groups. 

Wine Tour Médoc or Saint Emilion & Pomerol or Graves & Sauternes : 
From 1 to 7 people (more: consult us). 
From 500 euros TTC for 9 hours maximum with transportation and guidance (visits fees and lunch are not included).

Wine Tour Médoc or Saint Emilion & Pomerol or Graves & Sauternes : 
From 1 to 7 people (more: consult us). 
From 300 euros TTC for 5 hours maximum with transportation and guidance (visits fees and lunch are not included).

Spirit Tour Cognac : 
From 1 to 7 people (more: consult us). 
From 600 euros TTC for 9 hours maximum with transportation and guidance (visits fees and lunch are not included).

Ocean Tour Bassin d’Arcachon : 
From 1 to 7 people (more: consult us). 
From 500 euros TTC for 9 hours maximum with transportation and guidance (visits fees and lunch are not included).

Bordeaux Walking Tour: 
From 1 to 10 people (more: consult us). 
From 168 euros TTC for 2 hours maximum with transportation and guidance (visits fees and lunch are not included).

Guidance without transportation : 
From 1 to 40 people (more: consult us). 
From 328 euros TTC for 9 hours maximum. 
1st of May and 1st of January are paid double. 

Additional hour: 
41 euros TTC the additional hour during the day. 
53 euros TTC the additional hour during the evening and night (09 pm – 08 am).

Pick up/drop off costs outside Bordeaux Metropole: 
0,60 euros TTC/km. 

Visits languages

French, English. 

Do not hesitate to ask for another language (Italian, Mandarin, Japanese, Portuguese…): we can arrange the presence of an interpreter. This additional service will be charge.  

Booking Conditions

Every booking might be done by email (we do not accept booking by telephone).

Your demand should include the following criterias:

  • First Name / Last Name of the clients
  • ZIP code / Country of residence
  • Number of guests
  • Language of the tour
  • Telephone number of the guide or of the guests if they are not accompanied
  • Type of visits / Special demands
  • Date(s) of the tour
  • Allergies / Disabilities

In advance we apologize if we cannot answer to all the demands during the day, being physically on tour, we are not often at the office. If your request is in a hurry and is about a date relatively close, we will do everything to answer as quick as possible.  

As soon as you enter in contact with us, we will give you a quotation and we can provide a preprogram. We will not give detailed program before any confirmation and the advance payment of 50% of the quotation. When we will have the advance payment, we will confirm the program.  

Payment Conditions

Due to more and more dunning for delayed payments, our accounting department would like a payment upon receipt of the invoice by bank transfer (the bank details are at the bottom of our invoices). 

We do not accept any more payment by check. 

We cannot confirm a tour without an advance payment of 50% of the invoice. The balance should be transferred before the D-day of the tour. We can accept, in rare case, the payment of the balance the D-day of the tour but by cash only.

Delay

Please contact us by telephone in case of any delay. The visits in Châteaux are often private: it is up to the winery to accept to do the visit if we are more than 15 minutes late in order to not penalized their next guests. 

The Châteaux are doing full visit dealing with several inseparable elements (history, terroir, vineyard management, cellar management, tasting) and cannot welcome us « only for a tasting » like it is often asked. 

It is the same for restaurants: they are not cooking all day long and we should be on time to enjoy fully our gastronomy. 

Cancellation

Any cancellation should be written. 

30% is due if the cancellation is done 1 week prior the tour.
50% is due if the cancellation is done 48 hours prior the tour.  
100% is due if the cancellation is done 24 hours prior the tour. 

The agency can cancel or report a tour in case of unexpected circumstances out of its control. 

In any case, we will keep you informed and will try to find an alternative solution. 

Responsibility

We cannot be responsible of any loss of personal items and forgotten luggage in the cars. 

Also, we cannot be responsible of any bad traffic conditions caused by road accidents, strikes or in any case of significant disruptions. 

Car

It is strictly forbidden to smoke or to vape in the car. A sign reminds it. 

Also, it is forbidden to eat and drink (except the little bottles of water which are offered) in the car: clean-up charges can be added to the final invoice if the car needs to pass through the hands of a professional cleaning company.
